Join me and Our Little Roses in supporting real change. Having started as a volunteer for OLR 35 years ago, I have seen first hand the lives that have been impacted by this non-governmental organization dedicated to rescuing young girls in Honduras from situations of risk. In an effort to provide a safe space to be children, OLR created the first and only all girls' home in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The focus of Our Little Roses is to empower these young girls through education and love in an atmosphere of unity, respect, and security to transform them into successful women. I am currently the English Education Director at Holy Family Bilingual School where many of our girls are students and I cry like a baby at each and every graduation.
For the month of August, I will be walking 3+ miles a day here in Honduras with a goal of reaching 100 miles by August 31. Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my fundraising goal with Our Little Roses.
