Help Me Change a Girl's Life through Education

Hi, I'm Mayra, and I want to invite you to join me and Our Little Roses in supporting real change.

Our Little Roses is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to rescuing young girls in Honduras from situations of risk. In an effort to provide them with a safe space to be young girls, they have created the first all-girls home in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, where little girls and young women can now escape abject poverty.

The focus of Our Little Roses is to empower these young girls through education and love in an atmosphere of unity, respect, and security to transform them into successful women. In a country where only 7% of the Honduran population has achieved a high school-level education, 75% of the girls of Our Little Roses have graduated high school; moreover, 13% have gone on to achieve Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees. At the moment, Our Little Roses in Honduras is home to 72+ young girls (ages 1 year to 26 years old) and counting.

Our Little Roses seeks to aid the girls and young women of Honduras to become elements of change in their community by providing them with the best education they can achieve. Through sponsorship, donations, and support, Our Little Roses transforms, motivates, and empowers these girls to rise up out of poverty.

Having had the privilege of visiting the home in Honduras and connecting with the beautiful girls under Our Little Roses' care, I've witnessed firsthand the love, hard work, and hope that permeates every aspect of this incredible organization. The impact it has on these young lives is truly transformative.

As we approach Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to shifting our focus from consumption to gratitude and generosity, I encourage you to consider contributing to this cause.
