As I said, I have made the commitment to dedicate a part of the rest of my life to this wonderful and much-needed program. I visit the orphanage at least twice a year and these girls are my family.

It also makes the country an especially attractive ground for human traffickers, putting poor, abused and abandoned girls at extreme risk. The country's high poverty rate gives human traffickers an enormous opportunity to exploit people's needs for money. Children -- especially girls -- are a prime target.
